Under the OPT NRK Telethon and Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) projects, minor rehabilitation works will be conducted to support the establishment and improvement of Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) and community-based child protection mechanisms across different locations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
These works aim to create safe, inclusive, and engaging spaces that promote children’s learning, play, and psychosocial well-being. Each CFS will include a girl-friendly area to ensure equitable access for all. The interventions will involve minor renovations, furnishing, and provision of materials and equipment to ensure the spaces are functional, child-appropriate, and supportive of psychosocial and recreational activities.

Quantity / Size of Projects
The rehabilitation and furnishing works will cover a total of six (6) Child-Friendly Spaces across different governorates.

• Dura, Hebron Governorate

• Madama, Nablus Governorate

• Qaffin, Tulkarem Governorate

• Al-Eizariya, East Jerusalem Governorate

• Nahhalin, Bethlehem Governorate

Timescales & Required Dates
The rehabilitation works under both projects will be implemented within the respective project timelines as follows:

• NRK Telethon Project: All rehabilitation works are expected to be completed by 31 December 2025.

• CPiE Project: Rehabilitation works are planned to continue throughout the implementation period and are expected to be completed by February 2026.
